“Amanali is a stop on the Mexican professional tour, and it plays like one. The Schmidt-Curley layout follows the Requena canyon above the reservoir, with tee shots, elevation changes and carries that are a pleasure to look at before you hit them. It is high-desert golf with the character of its region, an hour north of Mexico City, and it is worth the trip.”
